Changing the World, it’s urgent
Young people are in a unique position to drive change when it comes to climate change and the environment.
They are the future and have the power to shape our planet’s future through positive action. They can make a massive difference by joining initiatives like Earth Day, signing petitions for climate justice, or volunteering with organisations that support sustainability.
Young people can also start their projects by planting trees, starting composting initiatives, or creating sustainable food systems.
Be there! Tell others about it! Well - scream if you want. It is urgent now.
Young people can use their voices to speak out about environmental issues. This could include participating in marches and protests, educating friends via social media platforms about eco-friendly practices, or writing letters to local government representatives advocating for stronger environmental protection laws.
They must stay informed on climate change and current events to be better equipped to take meaningful action. By learning more about global warming, understanding carbon footprints, reading up on scientific reports and studies on climate change, and following news outlets devoted to environmental protection, adolescents will be more prepared for activism.
Young people must remember that every little bit helps protect the environment and fight against climate change. If everyone took small steps like recycling properly, using reusable bags when shopping, turning off lights when leaving a room or buying local produce instead of imported goods, we would see real progress towards a healthier planet.
They should remind older generations about their responsibility to do the same! Young people should not carry the consequences of the older generations (including the writer of this blog - apologies!)

For sure, there’s a lot more to think about and talk about, so let’s share and create a Voix Guide together, and find out what’s important for YOU.
