How does Coaching work?

Youth coaching is all about helping you discover who you are and building the skills you need to thrive. Our coaches work closely with you through engaging conversations, reflections, and activities that make learning about yourself fun.

  • Discovering Self-Identity: Figuring out who you are and how you fit in with others.
  • Building Relationships: Trying out different social situations, understanding your roles, and building a strong sense of self.
  • Challenging Negative Thoughts: Identifying and overcoming self-defeating beliefs.
  • Enhancing Emotional Intelligence: Learning to recognize, understand, and manage your emotions effectively.
  • Setting and Achieving Goals: Defining what you want to accomplish and creating actionable plans to get there.
  • Navigating Transitions: Getting support through major life changes like moving to a new school or preparing for uni.

Our sessions are all about empowering you to explore your own path with confidence. If this sounds interesting, we offer a free discovery call so you can see if a coach is right for you!

What is the difference between coaching and therapy?

Coaches and therapists both want to help you feel better and achieve your goals, but they do it in different ways. If you’re dealing with tough psychological issues or trauma that mess with your daily life, therapy might be the way to go. Therapists are mental health pros who help you cope, heal, and get back to feeling like yourself. They diagnose and treat mental health conditions, offering advice and solutions to your problems.

On the other hand, coaching is perfect if you’re doing okay but want to level up in life. Coaches focus on helping you grow, achieve your goals, and improve things like school performance or relationships. Coaching is all about the present and future, and it’s action-packed. Your coach won’t give you advice but will help you figure out your own solutions and support you in making awesome progress.
