Welcome to Voix clinic, a unique youth mental health service that supports children and adolescents (12-24) and their families with psychiatric and psychological care. We offer a specific emphasis on coaching, mentoring and other measures to forge young people’s identity and confidence in the current, increasingly confusing on and offline world.
Let’s see how we can help:
Psychiatry, Psychology and Occupational Therapy
Psychology Referrals: Waitlist of 2 months
Psychiatry Referrals: Waitlist of 3 months
Occupational Therapy Referrals: Open
At Voix Clinic, we are committed to helping young people take control of their mental health. Please note that we cannot currently offer Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Assessments, however we are able to assist with ongoing management and therapy.
STEP ONE: REFERRAL
To get started, we follow a standard process of requesting a referral from health providers - a General Practitioner or another Medical Specialist. This process ensures access to Medicare rebates and reduces treatment costs.
You can upload your referral via our VoixBot in the bottom right-hand corner of this page or email us at [email protected].
Self-referrals or referrals from community organisations could be considered, but it would be challenging to access such financial support.
STEP TWO: REFERRAL ASSESSMENT SERVICE
Once the initial referral is submitted, our team will conduct a brief triage - initial assessment - which could define and expedite other elements of clinical support.
Following the triage process we will get in touch to advise if Voix has the capacity to accept your referral.
STEP THREE: ENGAGE WITH VOIX
After your referral has been accepted, our team will send an online form for you to complete that incorporates the necessary demographic, family and clinical details required. Once we receive this information, we can move to the stage of offering you an appointment.
You can access a range of further information regarding our fees, cancellation policy and our team via our VoixBot (bottom right-hand corner of this page).
Youth & ADHD Coaching
Voix supports a strengths & skills based approach to supporting the health of our youth and offers Youth and ADHD Coaching through Voix Studio. You can find out all the details here.
Broader Intervention Programs
Further definition of your needs may require broader intervention programs which may include:
- A program of group and online clinical activities
- structured, specific interventions
- or open groups overseen by coaches and mentors
- Access to more specific coaching and interventions, such as community youth work support (provided by accredited youth support workers).
- Crisis interventions (including coordination of inpatient care if required)
Charter of Healthcare Rights
The Australian government holds that patients deserve to receive high quality health care. As part of international human rights treaties, Australia strives to ensure that its citizens can rely on medical treatment that meets a variety of clear standards.
As a result, it has formed a charter that outlines the roles and rights of both patients and healthcare providers. The rights outlined in this document are crucial to ensuring that patients receive safe, quality care that they can trust.
