Voix Clinic is a unique youth health services program that provides psychiatric and psychological care with specific emphasis on coaching, mentoring and other measures to forge young people’s identity and confidence in the increasingly confusing World (on and off-line). We want to engage with them and all the important people around them, families and others (if appropriate), to shape their resilient and happier lives.
Our team is available to help young people manage their distress, anxiety, depression, and other uncertainties they may encounter while negotiating through an exciting but frequently turbulent adolescent life. Many struggle with school and social contacts, particularly those with neurodiversity and ADHD. It could be challenging ... in the best of times.
How Voix Clinic works
At this stage, we predominantly offer individual therapy sessions and work on accessing group therapy activities and workshops designed to foster self-awareness and personal growth. We are not creating a new platform but joining other clinicians and integrating the existing support.
We plan to “be online” too and create a virtual experience, which could allow young people to work through their fears before testing their resilience in an offline-real World. This virtual access could also help those who live in remote areas (no matter where they live!) or have limited mobility to find the assistance they need.
Voix Clinic is partnering with local organisations, such as schools, clinical groups, non-profits, and other community groups, to coordinate its clinical interventions with all other aspects of their lives.
The goal of clinical interventions will be transitioning from the Clinic to our Studio, which is being set up and shaped by co-designing it with young people based on their experience.
